It was extra special to participate in Black History Month events in Canada this year marks it’s 30th anniversary. I had the privilege of attending an event for the BGC Toronto Kiwanis Club, an organization that strives to empower youth. The event included my favourite part of presenting various awards to several youth. It was also great to connect with former Mayor of Toronto, Barbara Hall.
