My Birthday Reflection

To be honest, when the Covid-19 Pandemic began and my friends who had birthdays earlier in the year were unable to go out and celebrate, I didn’t think that that same thing would happen to me. I was almost certain that the Pandemic would have been over by now.  However, as reality kicked in, I eventually learned to roll with the punches.  I was a bit hesitant as to what my special day would look like, but it turned out to be one of my best birthdays yet! Why you ask?  Because it taught me to really appreciate those closest in my life, my mom and sister who celebrated with me (in our bubble of course); and I really felt the love and well wishes from others tenfold 🙂 Moreover, I started a new tradition, one that you can adopt as well.  I started a special “Birthday Journal” and jotted down all that I had accomplished the year prior – in terms of career, relationships, new skills developed and what I look forward to doing in the coming year – all while taking into considering the tools and equipment that God has and is providing me along the way.  I even got a career coach which was on my list last year…more on this subject at a later post. I truly believe and am proof that when you write your goals down, they have a way of manifesting!

What I realized most this past year is how much people follow and support my journey and for that I am eternally grateful.  I have said it before, but nothing matters to me more than knowing that I made a positive impact on someone else’s life.

Just thought I’d share a special note below that a supporter of my journey created and sent to me!  Feeling so blessed!

Stay Blessed!  Remember my motto in life: Love, Live & Give

Sharma xoxo
