I always make it a point to highlight the contributions that people of African descent have made to society. I do this so that everyone around the globe can learn, and understand these accomplishments no matter what your race, ethnicity, creed, gender…as we are all part of the human race. It is important that we share our cultures, challenges and triumphs with each other. I underscore the issue of race and injustice in my film titled 2020 which continues to be in the catalog of screenings at the Toronto Black Film Festival (Movie Poster attached to post).
