Wow, what an eventful Black History Month it has been! I couldn’t let the month pass without posting a few lines, but more to come! In a nutshell, the short film that I wrote and directed titled “2020”, I first introduced this film in a previous post, is exceeding my expectations. I am just so grateful for the positive reception. I hope that it continues to resonate with people! So far the film has screened both nationally and internationally at New York’s Kwanzaa Film Festival, Ritu Rangam Festival in India, Toronto Black Film Festival and the Halifax Black Film Festival.
