Caribbean Connection

I always love to support my Caribbean community! From shipping school supplies to children in Jamaica, and spreading the word about recent relief efforts for La Soufrière volcanic eruption on the lovely island of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines; to playing mas in Trinidad Carnival! I am so proud of my Caribbean culture and all that it has to offer! The music, the food, the camaraderie..it is no wonder that The Islands continue to be top destinations for many in the world. My West Indian background has definitely been and continues to be influential around the globe.

For this reason, I was thrilled when a few Caribbean news outlets wanted to feature me as an award-winning actor and filmmaker in their publications! Of course my Jamaican family was beaming with pride!

Just thought I would share the links to a couple of the articles, one of which includes my interview with Los Angeles-Based CaribPress. The other from a news magazine that is a staple in Caribbean households all over Canada, Pride News.

Last but not least, I was also invited to be a part of an amazing Caribbean-based project! Shhh….more details to come. In the meanwhile, here a some silly shots from part of the shoot lol! #BehindTheScenes #QuarantineShoot
